It's early, but we all wanted a good dose of fresh berries. So we climbed into the car and drove to the end of the road. Kinburn Berries: A berry patch two minutes from home! The day was hot and sunny. The kids gleefully popped handfuls of warm berries into their mouths. The prices were great. And my freezer is stocked with chopped, sugared berries! Now for the scones, crepes and shortcakes.
